Many of you know that running a business is hard work, and at times it can be very demanding and nerve wracking, things like giving a presentation or speaking in front of potential investors. If you are about to do this or have got to do something like this in the next few days, I would recommend that you get your image sorted right now. These investors are going to be expecting you to be able to walk the walk as well as talk the talk, and if these people don’t feel that you can follow through with this then it will be extremely difficult for you to get the investing that you need.
One of the ways people slip up during this process is to not take much care about their image, and more about their presentation.

Really, you should put as much effort into your presentation and your image and appearance, remember that these investors are going to be giving you their own money so they want to be 1000% sure that you are capable of delivering. Because slim fit shirts fit really close to the body, it means that it eliminates a lot of the excess fabric and material that you would get with a normal fitting shirt i.e. you can see the folds and creases in the shirt. You want a shirt to fit really close to your body so it emphasizes your torso, so you just ooze confidence and charisma, not so it makes you look fat and shy.

The best slim fit shirts are the ones that are made from 100% cotton, this fabric feels really soft on the skin and the thing you will find with a lot of shirts is that they are made using some of the worst fabric available and this shows, because when you put the shirt on the fabric causes you to itch and scratch constantly. If you go into your presentation looking like someone who belongs in that room and is confident and charismatic, then the potential investors will feel a lot more at ease with you than if you went in looking really shoddy and shy.

When people go into business they forget that they are not the only ones, and that there are other people that have done better than you at this point. The reason for this is because they have taken the time and effort to do the hard work and research into what they are doing. You see a lot of entrepreneurs that seem to be very untidy and shoddy, and there is a correlation between people who don’t dress well with not so much success.

There come a time when you are meeting with some very important people, who they are, no one knows but they are important. They could be potential investors who are looking to invest in your product or idea, and you have to look your best otherwise they will see right through you and realize that you haven’t put that much effort in to what you are doing. If you are well dressed and you are looking tidy and clean then this is a good start to your meeting. A lot of people when they go into meetings they like to wear a shirt, and this is advised but make sure you wear the correct fitting shirt, because there are a lot of shirts out there that have no specific fit to them and when you try them on they don’t look very good at all.
